For the first time, this annual event of the Professional College of Graphic Design of Catalonia has been held in the Alzamora facilities in Sant Joan les Fonts with noteworthy success. The 2008 Graphic Congress bore the title "La pell de les coses. Més enllà de l'envàs", The Skin of Things. Beyond the Packaging, and took place throughout an entire day at different points in the county of La Garrotxa.

In addition to various visits to the town of Olot and its surroundings, the central part of the congress was celebrated at the headquarters of Alzamora Packaging in Sant Joan les Fonts, with three technical talks presented by Anna Alzamora, the director of Alzamora Packaging, and Jesús del Hoyo, Dean of the Professional College of Graphic Design of Catalonia. The conference day was completed with a visit to the facilities of Alzamora Packaging, the showroom, the museum and the production plant.
